Glenthorne Highland Holiday Cottage
Glenthorne
Highland Holiday Cottage is a two story cottage with a sitting room, kitchen
and bathroom downstairs and 3 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs.
Included in the house are: all linens, towels and coal. There is a hifi system so remember to bring your favourite music. Also provided is a video recorder and DVD player to catch up on the movies or TV shows you have been too busy to watch. There is also a small library of books and games.
Living Room
The
living room is furnished in traditional style with relaxing seating and
a large dining table to enjoy family meals or dinner with your friends.
The central feature of the room is its wood burning stove, perfect to
relax in front of with your favourite book. There is also a bed settee
in this room for a member of the party for whom stairs may be difficult
(and there is a downstairs bathroom).

Kitchen
The
kitchen is furnished with hand built units and has a large dual fuel farmhouse
range. The kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences in terms of
equipment and appliances - dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and washing
machine.

Downstairs Bathroom
The downstairs bathroom has a w.c. and wash basin with a feature roll-top bath to relax away the day.
Bedroom 1
The
room is furnished to provide a relaxing and comfortable environment. It
features a king-size bed in traditional styling.

Bedroom
two is a double bedroom again with comfortable traditional styling.

Bedroom 3
Has
an adult size bunk bed and has the finest views of the surrounding mountains
and hills. This room has adult sized bunk beds suiting grown ups, teenagers
or children.

Upstairs Bathroom
The
upstairs bathroom is spacious having a walk in shower, w.c., bidet and
wash basin.

Garden
The
garden at the rear of the property has a section close to the house allowing
off street parking – from here you enter a large garden suitable
for relaxation or play. Sit at the end of a day with a glass of wine or
a local whisky and watch the sun set over Craig Dhu.
If you are with us in season you are welcome to some of the Victoria
Plums from the tree at the bottom of the garden.
